macOS keeps asking for Screen Recording permission
Since macOS 15 Sequoia, Apple shows a monthly re-authorization prompt for Screen Recording. This affects all screen capture apps. Just confirm the prompt and Pixel Copy will continue working.
Text isn't being recognized
Make sure Screen Recording permission is granted in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording. If the text is very small, blurry, or handwritten, recognition may be limited. Try selecting a larger area or ensuring the text is clearly visible on screen.
What languages are supported?
Pixel Copy supports 20+ languages through Apple's Vision framework, including automatic language detection. You can also set a specific language manually in the app's settings.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Pixel Copy runs entirely on your Mac. There is no server, no analytics, no tracking. Screenshots are discarded immediately after text recognition. Nothing leaves your device.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select the purchase.
